A 35-Years-Old Man Got Excellent Improvement In Relief In Lichen Planus With Homeopathy At Life Force

A 35-Years-Old Man Got Excellent Improvement In Relief In Lichen Planus With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 35-year-old man, Mr. D. B. (PIN: 40984) was suffering from Lichen Planus since April 2017. He came to Life Force on 23rd August 2019.
The patient had eruptions on the right forearm, but it subsided with steroids. However, he stopped using steroids last 9 months and experienced an outburst on both the legs and left hand. He had typically round, thickened, flat-topped, and red to pinkish skin lesions, which were dry & rough, along with itching & bleeding on scratching. The size of a few lesions was identical to that of the mustard seeds, but, occasionally, a few were of half a centimeter in size. While the patient was on steroids, his sugar levels elevated marginally crossing limits for fasting as well as that of post-breakfast.
He was taking Tab. Zempred 16 mg (methylprednisolone) and had stopped it from 9 months. But, he was still using Pacroma cream (Immunosuppressive agent) for local application.
The patient was suffering from a low backache 2.5 years back that was stable with conventional medicines. Also, he used to have acne with stomach upset complaints.
He was following a mixed diet. His appetite was average and he had craving for sweets, fruits, and eggs. He had aversion to fish and sour things. He had an average thirst. His perspiration was average, but he had excessive perspiration while doing exercises in the gymnasium. He was a chilly patient. His sleep was sound.
The patient was staying in Uttarakhand (Dehradun) with his parents, brother, wife, and daughter. He is working in Oil and Gas company with 21 days on and off working patterns. He was happy and satisfied with his job. The only challenge he had in the job was to work more than 12 hours a day regularly for more than 21 days. The patient used to get angry if people don't listen to him. But, he would not drag things long because of anger.
In his family, his mother had lichen planus 25 years back, and his father suffered from diabetes.
Dr. Rajesh Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed his research-based medicines to the patient. The patient got very good relief from his symptoms.
    Follow-Ups:
In October 2019, at the first follow-up, the patient said that there was no improvement in his condition. New eruptions had appeared on both his legs and the left hand. Existing eruptions were drying up, but there was no reduction in the size. The itching was also present. He had stopped the use of local topical cream after starting the treatment at Life Force.
In December 2019, the patient said that no new eruptions had appeared in the 2 months. Also, the old eruptions had reduced in size. Also, the dryness and itching had decreased significantly. The patient felt that the spread of lichen planus had slowed down. He had started experiencing an overall improvement with the homeopathic medicines.
In February 2020, the patient said that he had only one small new eruption developed on the left hand. Only a few visible eruptions were left on his left leg. Flattening and drying of the old eruptions had occurred. The itching was present at times. Dark marks had turned whitish and were now blending with the skin color.
In April 2020, he reported almost 80% recovery from his complaints of lichen planus. No new eruptions had appeared in the last 4 months, and the spread of the disease had stopped. Most of the active lesions had subsided with homeopathic medicines. Only 4 active lesions were present on the left leg. Minimal itching was present. Hyperpigmentation was fading gradually.
In June 2020, the spread of the disease had stopped completely. Only white spots are visible. Only one new complaint was found, and that was the appearance of the reddish eruptions with dryness and scaling on the left eyelid and forehead, and it was subsiding on its own. It may have occurred due to work-related stress and stress due to COVID 19. It was noticed by the patient that this complaint was aggravated due to the intake of eggs.
In August 2020, the patient said that he was 100% better. No new eruptions had appeared, and he was experiencing no itching. Only a few hyperpigmented spots were present on the skin. They were also fading gradually. Most of them were white. His skin was overall improved with the medicines. The complaints of Seborrheic dermatitis on his face and blepharitis were also relieved a lot.
In October 2020, the patient was very happy. He said he is 100% better with no complaints.
He is still under our treatment to finish the complete course of medicines.
    Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating rapidly spreading chronic lichen planus incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
