    95% Recovery From Oral Lichen Planus With Homeopathic Treatment At Life Force

    A 44-year-old man from Rajasthan, Mr. M.J. (PIN: 21761) visited Life Force clinic in the month of October 2013 for the treatment of Oral Lichen Planus.

    He was suffering from oral lichen planus for the past 1 year. Its lesions were present on both the cheeks, inside the mouth, and on his tongue. He was experiencing the pain and burning sensation in the mouth. On examination, it was found that there were white lines in the inner cheeks and tongue. There was no complaint of lichen planus on his body. He was taking multivitamins and conventional medicines from one year but the condition was as it is. Also, he had the complaint of Migraine for which he was taking conventional medicines off and on and it was better with it. 

    He was a vegetarian by diet. He had an average appetite He had no complaints with regards to his urine. His stools were not satisfied. Constipation was affecting him on and off. 

    He was a businessman and had stress related to it. His wife was a homemaker. He had two daughters, who were studying in school. 

    He never had any other major illnesses in the past. His father suffered from Diabetes mellitus.

    After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines. 

    Follow-Ups:
    On 16th September 2014, the patient reported that he is almost 40% better than earlier with the medicines. There was no burning sensation affecting him. The white lines which were present on the inner cheeks and tongue were reducing gradually. He was overall better with the medicines.
     
    On 8th October 2015, the patient updated that he was 50% to 60% better with the medicines. His gums were better than before. There was a slight discoloration present, but it was better than before. A few hyperpigmented spots were still visible on his tongue. There was no pain or burning sensation present. 

    On 12th December 2016, the patient reported that there was a mild increase in his complaints. Upon further investigation, it was found that he had stopped the treatment in between as there were no complaints bothering him. So, the patient was advised by Dr. Shah to restart the treatment. He was almost 70% better, but, for the past few days, the complaint had increased. According to this feedback, Dr. Shah made some changes in his prescription and prescribed the medicines to the patient. 

    On 28th June 2017, the patient reported that he was better than earlier. The white patches in his mouth had reduced than before. He also updated that the pain and burning sensation was not bothering him anymore. He was almost 80% better with the medicines. He was advised to continue the medicines.

    On 12th June 2018, the patient updated that he is almost 90% to 95% better now. The white lines on both cheeks were not visible anymore. His tongue had also become almost cleared. The patient was very happy with the results he got after consuming the homeopathic medicines. He was not required to take any conventional medicines after starting with homeopathy. His complaints were almost nil with homeopathic medicines.

    This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating oral lichen planus successfully and safely without any side-effects.
