95% Recovery From 2.5 Years Chronic Oral Lichen Planus Found With Homeopathy In 1 Year

A 37-year-old female from Goa, Mrs. R.K. (PIN: 36537) started homeopathic treatment through the online protocol of Life Force, in April 2018, for her complaint of Oral Lichen Planus.

She was suffering from oral lichen planus for the past 2.5 years i.e. since 2015. The lesions of oral lichen planus were present on the inner side of both her cheeks, inside the mouth, and her tongue. She was suffering from pain and a burning sensation in the mouth. No complaint of lichen planus was present on the rest of her body.

She had other associated diseases, namely an underactive thyroid and hypertension.

The patient’s appetite had reduced. She had cravings for spicy food & an aversion to sweet food items. Her thirst for water was average. The patient had no issues related to the urine and stool. Her sleep was normal. The patient’s thermal tolerance to the cold was good.

The patient was running a business. She was staying with her husband, daughter, & mother-in-law. Her dominant emotional trait was getting angry easily. The patient used to experience intense anger, get short-tempered, & speak out in anger. No major stress was present in her life.

In her family, her father & mother both were Diabetic.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines along with some dietary tips to the patient.

    Follow-Ups:

On 14th June 2018, the patient reported that there was a 40% improvement with the homeopathic medicines. The intensity of the burning sensation was reduced. The spread of the disease was reduced. Her old spots were reduced, and no new spots had developed. She was not using any other medicine than homeopathy. Overall, there was a major difference noticed with the 1st batch of homeopathic medicines.

On 25th August 2018, she updated being almost 50% better in her recovery from the complaints. The spread of the disease had stopped completely. The rashes were still visible, but the burning discomfort had reduced considerably. She could now eat semi-spicy food. She was overall better with the medicines.

On 1st November 2018, the patient reported being further better with the medicines. The burning discomfort was minimal now. Her lesions had reduced in size. Overall, there was a great difference in her condition and well-being with our homeopathic medicines.

On 5th March 2019, the patient updated being 95% better with the medicines. Her burning discomfort and pain were no longer present. Hyper-pigmented spots were fading gradually. Her recovery from oral lichen planus was overall improved with the medicines. She was perfectly fine & could now eat hot and spicy food.

The patient thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating her and improving her health. She is still under our homeopathic treatment to achieve complete recovery from her ailment.

    Conclusion:

This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating oral lichen planus incredibly and safely without any side effects.
