The alopecia areata has stopped growing. I have got two more bald spots, but they are smaller. My other bald spots have been covered with fine thin baby hairs. My hair falls out less. I really think that the disease has slowed down. I still have 2 spots that are not covered but they are much smaller than the earlier ones.

There is improvement and thankfully the Lichen Planus appears to have stopped spreading. I have seen a fair amount of improvement with the medication I have taken so far. I have had no new white spots and the lesions inside my cheeks have almost gone, leaving brown patches there. I do still have some lesions on my gums which seem to be slowly disappearing. I have done very well with the treatment for thyroid over the past 5 months. I had a TSH performed on 23 January 2008 in which the result was 2.75 uIU/ml. I do not cry as easily as before and I seem more engaged in the world around me. The dry skin behind my ears has also got much better.
