2.Hibiscus Flower Infusion

Heat 8 to 9 hibiscus flowers in 350 ml of coconut oil in a pan until the flowers turn black. Cover the pan with a lid and turn off the flame. Place the pan aside and let the oil in it cool. Once the oil has cooled, take 2-3 tablespoons of it to use, and store the rest in a jar or bottle. When it is slightly cool, begin massaging the oil to your scalp roots with your fingertips. Massage from the scalp and hair roots to the tips of your hair. Once you apply oil to all your hair, massage your scalp for an additional 10 minutes, and leave it overnight. Wash off the excess of oil with a mild or natural shampoo.

3.Aloe Vera

Prepare a hair mask by mixing a paste of curry leaves with some yogurt and apply it on your hair for half an hour once a week. Also, add fenugreek seeds added to it for better results.

5.Castor Oil

Castor oil, an excellent humectant, is laden with nutrients such as minerals, omega-6 fatty acids, omega-9 fatty acids (Oleic Acid), and vitamin E. All these nutrients moisturize dry dandruff flakes and fight the itchy scalp syndrome. Ricinoleic acid has antimicrobial, germicidal, and fungicidal properties, which protects the scalp from microbial and fungal infections which lead to dandruff and scalp infectionzs, such as seborrheic dermatitis.

Mix one part of castor oil with 3 parts of olive oil and squeeze half a lemon in this mixture and you have yourself a potent hair mask. Apply this hair mask on your scalp for one hour prior to shampooing. Doing this twice a week or regularly (if severe) will help you get rid of dandruff and add shine to dry hair. You can also add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil to enhance its benefits further.
