A case of rapid recovery of psoriasis in an eight year old kid.
Master SHN, Pin no. (25746) was eight years old when he first came to Life Force Chembur branch on 21st of May 2015. He was suffering from Scalp Psoriasis since four years .There was dry and scaly patches over his scalp which were progressively increasing day by day. There was severe itching at these patches and the affected area had no hair.
Apart from this he was also suffering from allergic bronchitis since he was seven years. He would get attacks of cold and cough 2-3 times in a year.
His sister had Psoriasis and Allergic Bronchitis too.In the family his Paternal Grand Mother suffered from Hypertension and maternal Grand Mother had Vitiligo .
He had no major illness in the past.
His appetite was good.He had special cravings for egg.His thirst was normal and would sweat like a normal child.He could equally tolerate both cold and warm temperatures.His bowel habits were Regular .His sleep was sound and he would often sleep on his abdomen.
He was born by Caeserrian Section as the mother had problems of calcified placenta .All his milestones were on the right time.
He belonged to a doctor's family. His Father was a Paediatrician and mother was a Radiologist. He also had one younger sister.
Throughout his childhood he had always been a hyperactive child. He had problems of lack of concentration too, but he was very creative child.
His First Follow up was taken on 13th of July 2015 over phone as he could not visit personally. His mother informed that the scalp psoriasis had stopped spreading.
The 2nd Follow up was taken on 19th of November 2015. This time he visited the branch with his mother. His scalp psoriasis was Forty percent better. The itching had reduced considerably, also the dryness had reduced. His Allergic Bronchitis also showed gradual improvement.
His next Follow up was recorded on 19th of May 2016 that was after six months, where his mother told that he was Ninety five percent better. The itching and scaling, both had reduced. There were no new patches in the last six months. Such a significant improvement in such a short span of time made them skip the regular follow ups.
Master SHN again visited us on 15th of July 2016. His psoriasis was Ninety five percent better and was further improving. The itching and dryness was completely better.
His complaints of allergic bronchitis had also reduced by about seventy five percent. The frequency of the attacks had come down.
This case highlights that if the remedy is correctly chosen, it leads to rapid, gentle and permanent cure. Master SHN showed beautiful recovery in a very short span of time. He is still taking treatment from us so that there is complete recovery and no relapse.
