95% improvement in a case of Long-lasting steroid masked Psoriasis with Homeopathy
Twenty-two-year-old young male P.A.D. (Patient Identification Number: 13278) visited Life Force Homeopathy on 2nd February 2010 for the treatment of Psoriasis.
He presented with psoriasis all over the body since last two years. He had severe itching and burning on the body due to psoriasis. His psoriasis would increase especially in winter and itching in patches increased at night. He had taken conventional steroidal medications on and off in the past two years but he got only temporary relief. His psoriasis relapsed with increased severity after discontinuation of the medicines. He had discontinued all medications since a month and wanted an effective treatment which would control his disease and prevent further relapses. He searched about the scope of homeopathy in psoriasis on the internet and started his treatment under Dr. Shah.
He was pursuing masters in biotechnology. His father was a farmer and his mother was a homemaker. He had a younger brother and a sister. He was a non-vegetarian by diet. His appetite was average and he had strong liking for sweets, meat and chicken. He was sensitive to cold weather. His sleep was normal.
By nature, he was sensitive and a reserved person. He did not express out his anger, and brooded over trivial issues. He would get anxious on small things. He was always stressed for his exams. His confidence level was low.
He did not suffer from any major illness in the past. His mother had hypertension and his sister also suffered from psoriasis. His case was studied in detail by Dr. Shah. He prescribed him his research based medicine for psoriasis. His photographs were taken. His psoriasis was steroid masked and he was explained that some resurfacing will be anticipated with steroid withdrawal.
He regularly took treatment for one year. In February 2011, he reported that his disease was much under control and itching had also subsided. He discontinued the treatment and again. He then visited the clinic after 1.5 years, in September 2012. He reported that after he had stopped the treatment he was much better for one year but his complaints had increased since 4 months. His treatment was restarted and his fresh photographs were taken. After nine months of treatment, he reported of significant improvement in his psoriasis. There was minimal itching over the lesions.
He then reported in February 2014, after a gap of 6 months. He reported that since two months his complaints had increased. Few new spots had come up. He also complained of acidity since 2 months. He was depressed because of his disease condition. Some changes were made in his medicines by Dr. Shah.
He reported on 10th April 2014 with 70% improvement. There were no active lesions. He still had some complaints of itching. His acidity complaints were much better. He was so happy with the progress that shared his experience through a video testimonial.
He visited Life Force on 11th June 2014 and reported with 95% improvement. There were no lesions of psoriasis. He only complained of little itching and discomfort. His acidity complaints were also significantly better. He is still under our treatment for further recovery.
In cases of steroid masked psoriasis, the improvement may be slow and steady but the results are often excellent and long-lasting with homeopathic medicines.
