Case-7: 90% recovery achieved in case of Osteoarthritis

He started with knee pain two years ago after a fall from a bike. The pain was more in the left knee. It was a continuous type of pain more on walking, during initial motion; he would feel better with constant movements and warm fomentation. Sometimes there was swelling at the knee joint along with stiffness. His X ray findings suggested early osteoarthritic changes.

He also had mild pain in Right shoulder joint since a month. He was taking painkillers, which would give him temporary relief and some adverse effects.

His appetite was normal. He had no complaints regarding his motions and urine. He was a simple person who had his own small-scale business. His spouse was a housewife and his sons were studying.

He had no major stress in life. He was a simple person involved in his family and work. He didn't have any big social circle. He shared a good relation with his family. He didn't have any specific past history or family history.

His case was studied in detail by Dr. Rajesh Shah and he was prescribed Research based medicines.

After four months, the pain in the right shoulder was much better. The knee pain was around 30 % better.

After another 4 months, on 1st July 2013, his knee pain was 50% better. The pain and swelling was improving but stiffness was still there. His details were updated and Dr. Shah made changes in the medicines accordingly.

On 20th November 2013, there was 70% improvement in his complaints. For the past 6 months he had not taken even a single pain killer. He still continued with the medicines.

On 23rd January 2014, he reported that he was about 90% better.

He was very happy with the treatment and is still continuing with the treatment.
