A Patient Found Incredible Relief In His Complaints Of Meniere’s Disease With Homeopathy
An 18-year-old male patient (PIN: 36418) approached Life Force Homeopathy on 10th April 2018 for getting his complaint of Meniere’s Disease treated. It was bothering him since 2016. The main presenting symptoms were nausea, vertigo, headache, and buzzing in the ears. The patient was on allopathic treatment since 2017 till date when he approached Life Force.
His symptoms were often triggered due to the intake of chocolates, salty food, and caffeine.
His history of ailments was asked and updated. He had undergone an operation for appendicitis in November 2016. His family’s medical history was also asked and updated. The patient’s current prescription details were asked and updated. The patient was taking Vertin 24 mg since 2017.
His case taking was done in detail.
His appetite was average. He was very fond of coffee, chocolate, robusta banana, spicy food, potato, salty food, etc. He disliked tomato, bitter gourd, lady’s finger, etc. His thirst was average. He drank 2-3 liters of water daily. His bowel movement was satisfactory, and he had no urinary complaints associated. He had average sweating and could bear both extremes of climate. The patient enjoyed a sound sleep with no recurrent dreams as such.
His childhood history was asked. He had a very loving and supportive family and a happy childhood.
His mental generals were also asked. By nature, the patient was shy and reserved. When asked about his emotions, the patient told us that he was quite happy and had no negative emotions as such.
His further details were collected and updated. His height was 176 cm, and his weight was 55 kgs.
After analyzing the whole case history of the patient, Dr. Shah prescribed medicine to the patient. He was also given all the relevant videos and links related to his disease condition and its treatment at Life Force.
Follow-Ups:
His first follow-up was done on 14.6.2018. He was still on Vertin tablets and was unable to exactly identify the improvement status. However, he did not experience any attacks, so far, after starting treatment from Life Force. The patient was still experiencing a buzzing sound in his right ear.
At the second follow-up on 10th July 2018, not much noticeable change had occurred in his condition
The patient was feeling better in his further follow-ups and had put a break in his medication for almost 11 months.
The patient again had a relapse in November 2019, and his Vertin tablet dosage was increased from Vertin 24 mg to Vertin 40 mg.
Dr. Shah had reviewed the entire case and prescribed medicines accordingly to the patient.
By 2nd February 2020, the patient was feeling almost 90% better. The buzzing sound in his ear had also reduced considerably. He had only one attack during the first week of January 2020. Also, he had stopped taking Vertin tablets completely which was a huge relief to the patient.

Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy gives excellent results in most cases of Meniere’s disease. Homeopathic medicines not only give symptomatic relief but also help in reducing the swelling of the endolymphatic sac, thereby reducing the recurrence of Meniere’s disease.
