Anju, 36 yrs old lady, came to the clinic with complains of angioneurotic urticaria. She had swelling of eyes, face, neck, ears. The itching would be severe. She would get attacks of urticaria two times in a week and would last for 2 to 3 days. She was on antihistaminic and oral steroids, with little relief of the urticaria.

She had contact dermatitis on the fingers since 4 years. There would be scaling of the skin, with itching. Her dermatitis would be worst with detergents and soaps.

There was no family history of urticaria. Her mother had asthma.
