A Youngster Got Rid Of Her Chronic Headache With Homeopathy

A 20-year-old girl, Miss. M.S (PIN: 15659) consulted Dr. Shah on 16th March 2011 for her chronic migraine headache. She had been suffering from the painful headaches of a discomforting migraine from the last four years. It would occur once or twice a week and would stay for a day. Her migraine headache would get aggravated due to tension and while traveling. She would take a painkiller as and when required and the need to take a painkiller was at least 1-2 times a week. She had an associated complaint of acne and bronchitis.

We treat patients from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE & 180 more countries. Get an expert opinion on your ailment, click here to ask Dr. Shah's team directly.

In the past, she didn't suffer from any major illness. In her family, her father was suffering from a nasal polyp, diabetes, and hypertension. Her mother too had a migraine headache.

She had a normal appetite. She preferred eating spicy, fried food. She would perspire profusely. She was intolerant to the cold weather.

She had completed her BMS and was preparing for MBA entrance. Her father was Banker, her mother was a homemaker, and she had an elder sister who was settled in the USA. Miss. M.S. was very ambitious but lacked confidence. She was reserved by nature and would never take an initiative to talk to anyone. She was sentimental and would weep easily.

Her case details were studied in detail by Dr. Shah, and he prescribed Silicea 30c and some research-based medicines to the patient.

She felt 25% improvement in her condition within 6 weeks of medication. She reported on 25th April 2011 with a reduction in the frequency and intensity of her migraine attacks. She had suffered from just one severe attack in the last one month. The same set of medicines were prescribed to her.

On 5th June 2012, the patient reported that the relief from her Migraine was better. But, again, there was a recurrence of her complaint from the past two months. After reviewing her case, Dr. Shah upgraded her medicines.

The patient reported again on 6th August 2012 with a great improvement in her relief. The frequency of her migraine had reduced to once in two months with a minimum need of painkiller. She was happy to inform that her intake of painkillers got reduced with our medicines.

Conclusion:
The above case illustrates that the psychosomatic disorder like a migraine can be successfully treated with homeopathy. Homeopathy considers the patient's mental make-up in all cases and the homeopathic medicines are given acting at the level of mind and body together, thereby treating the condition of the patient at the root level.
