A doctor's child was asked for surgery and homeopathy cured without using a knife

J.S., six years old child of a leading surgeon in Mumbai was suggested tonsil removal by an ENT surgeon who was a family friend. The child was scared of surgery so as the mother. They decided to give a fair trial to homeopathy before finally going for surgery.

The child has recurring episodes of tonsil infection, once in every six weeks, requiring course of antibiotics. Every cold drink or change in weather or exposure of cold wind would trigger throat congestion leading to severely inflamed tonsils. The tonsils were enlarged as a result if frequent infections.

The case was studied in the light of homeopathic parameters. The child was administered suitable course of medications. There was poor response during initial two months. With continued treatment for about six more months, frequency of attacks reduced significantly. In next six months, child had no attack of tonsil infection whatsoever. She gained weight. The treatment was continued for six more months. She improved further in all respects.

The child’s father who is a surgery, now regularly refers cases of tonsillitis for homeopathic treatment.
