A 6.5-Years-Old Boy Recovered From Recurrent Tonsillitis With Homeopathy Without Any Surgery
A 6.5-years-old child, Master E. F. (PIN: 30774) was brought to Life Force by his parents on December 2016 for treating his recurrent tonsillitis and enlarged adenoids which he was suffering from childhood. He came to us with the complaints of severe nasal blockage with a difficulty in breathing through his nose and a moist cough.
He kept his mouth open to breathe through all the time. He used to experience these attacks almost every month lasting for a week. Besides this, he suffered from the frequent colds with watering from the nose and recurrent sneezing associated with fever. He had severely enlarged adenoids and tonsils, and the ENT surgeon and pediatrician had advised a surgery for his complaints. He was on frequent antibiotics.
He was having a mixed diet and was experiencing a decreased appetite. He had a desire for chicken, chocolates, and sweet foods. He had an aversion to spicy food. He was sensitive to the cold. His bowel movement and urination were normal. His sleep was sound. He had happy dreams of friends and joy.
He was an obedient child. He used to take time to mix & mingle with others. He had the fear of the dark. He was talkative and inquisitive. He got angry easily & would retaliate back.
He had a strong family history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hypothyroidism, and frequent colds. On examination, he had enlarged, swollen, and congested tonsils. His case was studied in detail by Dr. Rajesh Shah and, on basis of his case details, he prescribed his research-based medicines to the patient.
In the first three follow-ups, the patient’s complaints of mouth breathing and always opening mouth were as it is. But, his relief from the complaints of frequent cold and sneezing was better than earlier. On the fourth follow-up in the month of November 2017, he was 50% better with his relief from the frequent cold and nose block. But, his complaints of mouth breathing and opening mouth were as it is.
By the end of 1.5 years of the treatment, he was 100% better with his recovery from the frequent cold and nose block. His relief from the complaints of mouth breathing and opening mouth were also better by 50%. He is still under the treatment.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates the effectiveness of homeopathy in treating enlarged tonsils and adenoids with a weak immunity effectively, by preventing the need for the surgery. With homeopathic treatment, the patient improved significantly and obtained a great relief from the recurrent complaints. The homeopathic medicines, which were prescribed based on the totality of the patient picture, improved his immunity to a great extent.
