Homeopathy Relieves a Surgeon’s 10-Years-Old Pain of Trigeminal Neuralgia in 4 Months

41-years-old surgeon Mr. VB (Patient identification number 30198) started treatment for his trigeminal neuralgia at Life Force Homeopathy in November 2016.

He was suffering from trigeminal neuralgia since 10 years before starting treatment with Life Force. He used to suffer from acute pain on and off. However, since October 2016 he was suffering from continuous pain. He used to experience acute episode of pain once in every 6 months. The episode would last for 3-4 months. The patient used to experience severe, unbearable electric current like pain, mostly around the left upper and lower premolar teeth and oral cavity. He used to suffer from the pain daily in spite of taking conventional medicines (Tab. Carbamazepine 600 mg daily). The pain used to aggravate after eating hard food. Even the change of toothpaste used to trigger the pain. He used to stop using medication once the acute episode settled.

His mother suffered from diabetes and hypertension. His brother suffered from heart attack, and the sister suffered from slipped disc.

Mr. VB would love to eat a variety of food. His appetite was average. He used to perspire moderately. He was sensitive to hot weather.

Mr. VB was a freelance laparoscopic surgeon. He was quite occupied in his job as he had a good practice as surgeon. He used to love to take up new challenges and used to try his best to achieve them. He was anxious and short-tempered person. He used to shout in anger. He was resident of Goa and was staying with his family. His wife was a homemaker. His son was 14-years-old and daughter was 4-months-old.

With the above details, Dr. Shah analyzed the case in detail and prescribed research based medicines.

In March 2017 patient reported complete recovery from trigeminal neuralgia. Patient reported that since December 2016 he was absolutely free from pain. Gradually, the intensity of the pain subsided in the first month of the treatment. He stopped having conventional medicines completely. Patient was happy with the treatment that he received. Patient continued medicines prescribed by Dr. Shah. The patient is still continuing the medicines to prevent the recurrence of episodes of trigeminal neuralgia.

Conclusion

This case highlights that with research-based homeopathic treatment at Life Force the intensity, frequency, and duration of the pain of trigeminal neuralgia reduce gradually and the dependency or use of conventional medicines can be reduced successfully.
